FAQ

Answers to common questions

Everything you need to know about joining, verification, membership, and safety.

Getting started

Is it free to join?
Yes. Creating an account, getting verified and browsing are completely free, and so is messaging if you joined as an attractive member. Successful members need a paid membership to send messages.
How do I sign up?
Tap Join now, choose your account type, add a few details, and complete identity verification. We also send a link to confirm your email address: nothing stops you using Gloveri until you click it, but confirming is what lets us email you when someone messages you. Then build your profile and start connecting.
Who is on Gloveri?
Successful members who bring generosity and an elevated lifestyle, and attractive members who bring beauty, energy, and ambition. People who know what they want.

Verification & trust

Why do I have to verify my ID?
Verification is mandatory and cannot be skipped. Requiring a government ID and a selfie before an account can be used is how we keep the community authentic and free of fake profiles.
How does selfie verification work?
You upload a photo of a government ID and a selfie. A trained member of our team compares the two by hand and approves or declines. There is no facial recognition and no automated biometric matching: a person looks at both images. Once approved, you get a Verified badge.
Is my ID data safe?
Your ID and selfie upload straight from your device to private, encrypted storage. Only the reviewer handling your case can see them, and every time a document is opened it is logged against that reviewer's account. Both images are deleted permanently as soon as a decision is made, so we keep the outcome and your badge, not the images. You can also delete your verification data yourself at any time from Settings.

Membership & billing

What do I get with a paid membership?
Messaging for successful members, and more photos on your profile: six on Standard, twelve on Premium, twenty on Diamond. See the full breakdown on the Membership page.
When can I pay for a membership?
Paid memberships are not live yet, so nothing can be charged today and every account is on the free Standard plan. Verification is free and always will be. When billing opens we will publish the renewal and cancellation terms before anyone is asked for a payment method.

Safety & conduct

Is sugar dating allowed?
Yes. Gloveri is a sugar dating platform: generosity, gifts, and support between consenting adults are openly part of relationships here. What is strictly prohibited is paid sex: escorting, prostitution, and pricing dates or intimacy. Read more on the Safety page.
How do I report someone?
Open their profile and use the Report control at the foot of the page. Choose what happened, add anything we should know, and a member of our team reads it. They are never told that you reported them. We act on reports by hand, so no number of reports closes an account on its own, and we are not able to write back to you about what we decide. You can also email hello@gloveri.example.com. See our safety guidelines for details.
How do I block someone?
Open their profile and use the Block control at the foot of the page. It takes effect at once and it works both ways: you will not see them anywhere on Gloveri, and they will not see you. Neither of you can message the other, and your conversation is hidden for both of you rather than deleted. They are not told. You can undo it at any time from Settings, and everything comes back exactly as it was.
Can I hide my profile?
You can hide your photos and your location. Turning on “Hide my profile photo” in Settings makes every photo private, so only members you have approved can see any of them, and everyone else sees how many you have and can ask. “Hide my location” removes it everywhere: it is not on your profile, not on your card, and searching for it will not find you. There is no incognito browsing and no last-login control, because Gloveri does not record when you were last here or whose profile you looked at.
