These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Gloveri Ltd. ("Gloveri", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using Gloveri, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The short summaries under each section are there to help you read; they are not part of the agreement itself.
These Terms are an electronic contract between you and Gloveri Ltd.. You must accept them to create an account or use the service, and they apply whether you use Gloveri free or on a paid membership. We may amend these Terms; when we make material changes we update the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and your continued use after a change takes effect is acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented to you when you buy a membership.
In plain words: This is a contract between you and us. You have to accept it to use Gloveri, and using the service after we change it means you accept the change. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Gloveri. By using the service you represent that you are 18 or older, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that you are not barred from using the service under the laws of your jurisdiction. You also represent that you have not been convicted of, and are not required to register with any authority in connection with, a sexual offence. Registration is void where prohibited; you are responsible for making sure your use of the service is legal where you are. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed immediately.
In plain words: You must be 18 or older, legally able to agree to this, and allowed to use a service like this where you live. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
You are responsible for the information you provide and for all activity that occurs under your account. Your account is for your personal use only: keep your login credentials confidential, do not share them or let anyone else use your account, and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. One person may hold only one account, and an account cannot be transferred to anyone else.
In plain words: Your account is yours alone. Keep your password to yourself, keep your details accurate, and hold only one account. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
Identity verification (a government-issued ID and a selfie) is mandatory before an account can access member features. Verification is carried out by our own staff, who review the two images by hand; no automated system decides anything about your identity. Both images are permanently deleted as soon as a decision is made; we keep the outcome and your Verified badge, not the images (see our Privacy Policy). Attempting to circumvent verification, or using another person's identity, is grounds for immediate termination.
In plain words: Everyone verifies with an ID and a selfie. A person reviews them, both images are deleted once the decision is made, and faking it ends the account. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
Escorting, prostitution, and any exchange of money or gifts for sexual services are strictly prohibited. Gloveri is a dating platform for consenting adults, not a marketplace: you may not use it to advertise, offer, broker, or request sexual services, escorting, or companionship priced per meeting, and doing so results in immediate, permanent removal and possible referral to authorities. Gifts and financial generosity freely given within a relationship are a private matter between adults; the moment money, a gift, or anything of value is offered or requested as payment for sexual activity, it is prohibited conduct. You also agree not to: harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse other members or our staff; post unlawful, hateful, or sexually exploitative content; post content that exploits or endangers anyone under 18 (report any such account to hello@gloveri.example.com immediately); pressure any member for money, or operate any scam or fraud; solicit passwords or personal identifying information from other members; impersonate any person or misrepresent an affiliation; hold multiple accounts or post false information about yourself; send spam, chain messages, or advertising; contact a member off the platform without their explicit consent given on the platform; probe, scan, or test the security of the service, or attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours; scrape, harvest, index, or collect member data by any means; or use the service for any illegal purpose. Members must treat one another with honesty and respect.
In plain words: No buying or selling sex, ever: escorting, paid sex, and pricing your company are banned and end the account. Generosity freely given between adults is your business. No minors, no harassment, no scams, no scraping, no fake profiles, no spam, and nothing illegal. Report anyone under 18 to us immediately. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
Gloveri is for individuals seeking genuine relationships, and for personal use only. Using the service for any commercial purpose is prohibited, including: advertising or selling products or services; recruiting for any site, venture, or event; seeking leads, customers, or research subjects; press or media activity we have not authorised in writing; and any use by or on behalf of a competitor. Organisations, companies, and other entities may not hold accounts. We may investigate unlawful or unauthorised use and take legal action, including referral to law enforcement, where we consider it appropriate.
In plain words: Gloveri is for people, not businesses. No selling, recruiting, market research, or media use. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
We are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline. You use the service, and you meet other members, at your own risk, and you agree to take sensible precautions when interacting with people you meet here, especially the first time you meet in person. Be careful with money: treat any request for money from someone you have never met in person as a likely scam and report it, and never share your card details, bank credentials, or passwords with another member. If you choose to give another member money or a gift, that is a private decision between adults; we are not a party to it, we cannot recover it for you, and no member is ever entitled to demand it. We do not conduct criminal background checks on members. We make no guarantee about the identity, conduct, or compatibility of any member. Please read the precautions on our Safety page before meeting anyone.
In plain words: Be careful, especially offline and with money. We do not background-check members. A gift is your own decision and we cannot recover it; report anyone who pressures you for money, and never share card or bank details. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
Some features require a paid membership. A membership is a recurring subscription: you choose a term, we take payment through our payment processor, and the same amount is charged again at the end of each term until you cancel. Your card details are entered on the processor's own pages and are held by them; Gloveri never receives or stores your card number. You agree to keep your billing information accurate and current. You can cancel at any time from your account settings, which opens the processor's billing page where you can also update your card and read your invoices. Cancelling stops the next charge and nothing else: you keep the membership you have already paid for until the end of the term you are in, and we do not refund or pro-rate the part of a term you have already started. When a term ends without renewal, the account simply returns to the free Standard tier; nothing you have added is deleted or hidden by a membership ending. A membership is personal to your account and cannot be transferred. Identity verification is required before you may message another member, on every tier including the paid ones, so a membership is never a substitute for being verified.
In plain words: Paid memberships renew automatically until you cancel from your account settings. The processor holds your card, not us. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep what you already paid for. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
Except where required by applicable law (including statutory cancellation/withdrawal rights in some regions), payments are non-refundable and part of a membership term is not pro-rated. Where a mandatory withdrawal right applies, we honour it in accordance with local law.
In plain words: Payments are final except where the law where you live says otherwise. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you post ("User Content"). You grant Gloveri a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and reproduce your User Content solely to operate and promote the service. You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to post it, that it is about you and is accurate, and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
In plain words: What you post stays yours. You give us permission to host and show it so the service can work, and you promise it is yours, true, and legal. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
The service, the Gloveri name and branding, and all content we created (not User Content) are the property of Gloveri Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for material in the public domain or with our written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, frame, mirror, or create derivative works from any part of the service, and you may not remove or alter any proprietary notice.
In plain words: The site and the brand are ours. Do not copy or reuse them without written permission. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
Do not post material that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights. If you believe your work has been copied onto the service in a way that infringes your rights, write to hello@gloveri.example.com with: identification of the work; where the material appears on the service; your contact details; a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorised; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We remove infringing material and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
In plain words: Do not post other people's work. If someone posted yours, tell us and we will take it down. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
We may review, remove, or restrict content and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines, that pose a risk to members, or as required by law. We may do so with or without notice. Every profile photo is reviewed by a person before any other member sees it; content moderation decisions on this service are made by people, not by automated systems. You may stop using the service at any time. You can delete your account yourself from Settings: we will ask for your password, tell you exactly what is deleted and what we keep, and then do it immediately. It cannot be undone, there is no recovery period, and deleting your account while a membership term is running ends your access to that term. If your account has been closed by us, the Settings control is not available, because removing it would also remove our record of the closure; write to privacy@gloveri.example.com instead and a person will handle it. What we keep after a deletion, and why, is set out in our Privacy Policy. The sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including content licences, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) survive the end of your account.
In plain words: We can remove content or accounts that break the rules; a person, not a machine, makes those calls. You can delete your own account from Settings, immediately and permanently. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
We do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times or free of interruptions, errors, or defects. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, temporarily or permanently. Where a change materially reduces a paid feature you have already paid for, your remedy is set out in the Refunds section and in any mandatory local law. We may also block access that we reasonably believe threatens the security or integrity of the service, and you agree not to circumvent such a block.
In plain words: We cannot promise perfect uptime, and features can change. Do not try to get around a security block. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
When you register we ask for certain information, including a valid email address and, for verification, a government-issued ID and a selfie. How we use and protect that information is set out in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. You acknowledge that we may disclose your information where required by law or legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law enforcement requests, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gloveri, our members, or the public, or to prevent or report a crime or suspected abuse.
In plain words: Read the Privacy Policy; it is part of the deal. We can hand information to the authorities when the law requires it or safety demands it. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
The service may contain links to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Your dealings with any third party you reach through the service are between you and them, at your own risk.
In plain words: Links to other sites are not ours and not our responsibility. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
Gloveri provides a platform for members to connect; we are a venue, and we are not a party to any interaction between members. We do not conduct criminal background checks on members, and we do not guarantee the identity, conduct, or compatibility of any member. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing on the service is professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members and should follow the precautions on our Safety page.
In plain words: We connect people; we cannot vouch for them. The service comes as it is, and nothing here is professional advice. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gloveri Ltd. and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service, from the conduct or content of any member or third party, or from unauthorised access to your content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
In plain words: Our liability is limited as far as the law allows; the law where you live may give you rights this section cannot take away. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gloveri Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, demands, and damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, the content you post, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of anyone's rights. This obligation does not apply where it would be unenforceable under mandatory consumer law where you live.
In plain words: If your behaviour here gets us sued, you cover it, except where consumer law says otherwise. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
We would like to resolve any dispute informally first: write to hello@gloveri.example.com and a person will engage with the problem. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Gloveri Ltd. is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live. Any disputes will be resolved as set out here; specific arbitration and venue terms will be finalised with counsel before launch.
In plain words: Talk to us first. Governing law and the exact dispute process are placeholders until counsel signs off. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for gross negligence, intent, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. As a consumer in these regions, our liability is otherwise limited to foreseeable damages arising from a breach of material contractual obligations typical for an agreement of this kind, and your statutory rights, including any withdrawal rights, are unaffected by these Terms.
In plain words: If you are an EU, EEA, Swiss, or UK consumer, your statutory rights stand, whatever else this document says. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
In plain words: Check the date at the top; using Gloveri after a change means you accept it. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the rest continues in full force. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. Your account and these Terms are personal to you and cannot be assigned by you; rights to your account end at your death. Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, or employment relationship, and you may not make representations on our behalf. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any membership terms presented at purchase, are the entire agreement between you and Gloveri Ltd. about the service.
In plain words: Standard housekeeping: broken clauses do not sink the rest, accounts are not transferable, and this document plus the Privacy Policy is the whole deal. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@gloveri.example.com.
In plain words: Write to us with any questions. (This recap is for readability and is not part of the agreement.)
